Daylight Savings (poem)

January’s poem in audio is a public post over on my Patreon. I hope you’ll give it a listen. This was written for an anthology call, and made it to the final round before receiving a positive and personal rejection. While I was bummed it didn’t make it in, I was proud of myself for putting myself out there. I don’t often submit my poetry – especially not the way I submit my fiction! That’s part of my goal for 2022. Submit more poetry! Stop self-rejecting. It’s funny how I was able to overcome that with fiction, but it didn’t generalize out to other writing forms.

And you can always follow my Patreon for FREE. Just scroll past the tiers, and click follow. You’ll get access to all the public posts I’ve written over the last five years, plus any new ones will come right to your email.

Thanks for reading!
