Is blogging while sad the same as shopping when hungry?
Possibly. And yet, here I am with a poem.
Adrift
What will I do when
It no longer snows?
I have a home
In the pockets of my heart
For the polar bear starving
And the elephant disappearing,
And even for the three
Year old whose mother
Drown in the rain, praying,
But what will I do
Without the Mother Mary
Soft and hushing,
Virgin snow falling?

A gentle reminder than I have a poetry Patreon for only $1. I’d love to send you poetry postcards in the mail and/or read my poetry to you.
I think it might be. I have lots of experience with the hungry, not so much with the blogging, though.

I’m stuck around people for another 3 hours, but then I plan to go for a loooong walk with the dog pal. Sure to cure any melancholy.

I think dogs have magic powers in the right situation 🙂

I definitely think those two things are analogous. Your poem is lovely as well 🙂
