Today I’m sharing my own news to inspire you.
Yesterday, I finished the final draft of Ferals and Blights! I wrote a lyrical, complex fantasy in eleven months. It’s gorgeous, and I love it. I’m excited to continue writing stories within the world I’ve built. I can’t wait for children (and adults) to read it and cry and feel hope.
Now, I begin the querying process. I’m researching agents, have written a query, and am reading about what to ask when they finally call me. Everyone cross your fingers for me, please! I’ve done my best work, so now it’s up to a bit of luck and logic.
My other inspiring news is that I’ve had another poem accepted to One Sentence Poems. They are publishing it sometime today (usually in the evening)! You can click here to read it once it’s up.
Do you have creative news to share? If so, please link to it in the comments.
A reminder that for only $1 you can support my writing career and get original poetry on a postcard in your mailbox each month. Let’s keep inspiring each other!
