A Moment… 10/26/16

Wednesdays are for taking a moment during the week and counting blessings, or telling funny stories, and anticipating the approaching weekend. I’d love for you to share your Wednesday moment in the comments or attach a link to your blog.

There was a woman with her dog
blonde hair, brown fur, all softness
playing fetch & a homeless man
paunchy & balding whose
face lit up as he laughed like a child
at her dog’s magic trick.
She could have ignored him or
made him feel shamed, but she
rendered him visible &
for that I am grateful.

Today I am grateful for the kindness of strangers and the sweetness of dogs.

The dialogue starts with you. What are you grateful for this week?

  1. I am grateful for accountability partners. In the past week, I found two willing to keep me on task with my writing. Although I have nothing to show for it yet, I believe I’m on the right track to getting my projects finished.

    1. I saw you mention that on Twitter! Is there a reward for work done…like chocolate or a movie or something? Sometimes, that helps me get through tough spots. Will you journal today? I know that was working well for you for a bit!

      1. I don’t have a reward system in place. I never thought about putting one in place. I’m sure I can come up with something.

As far as journaling today, I wrote earlier this afternoon in my One Day app. I forget that I have it on my phone for whenever I forget my notebook.
