Wednesdays are for taking a moment during the week and counting blessings, or telling funny stories, and anticipating the approaching weekend. I’d love for you to share your Wednesday moment in the comments or attach a link to your blog.

If you haven’t heard of Leigh Bardugo, please please go grab your eReader and download her Witch of Duva (you can also read it right now on Tor). You can thank me later.
Follow that beauty up with The Grisha Trilogy set in a magical Russia steeped in the cold memories of war, and fleshed with burning characters who want to make their future better.
Her follow-up novel, Six of Crows, was a nail-biter heist scheme peopled by a gang you wish you knew. It is also set in her Grisha world, because when you’ve built a world with that much personality, why not keep exploring it, right?
Crooked Kingdom is the sequel to that heist, which left us hanging perilously. Luckily, Bardugo is a swift and honorable woman. She turned out this beauty fast enough to satisfy, and I was lucky enough to see an offer I couldn’t turn down from Books Of Wonder for a pre-ordered signed copy!
I’ve also heard she is magnanimous and charming on the book tour trail. If you get a chance to meet her, please don’t tell me. I might die from envy.
I can’t tell you anything about Crooked Kingdom yet because my loving husband puppy-dog eyed me last night and sweetly begged to be the first to open its red pages. I relented, because I love him.
So, today I am giving thanks for good books, savvy authors, swift postal services, spare change, and a husband who loves a good book as much as I do.
The dialogue starts with you. What are you thankful for today?
